Life Lately, Volume 4

Life Lately vol 4- Boston Chic Party Life Lately Vol 4- Boston Chic Party Life Lately vol 4- Boston Chic Party
May flew by! Kicking the month off with the Kentucky Derby party, following it up with the end of my MBA program and two graduations (mine and my sister’s) made this month go by at warp speed! I finished up the month with some much needed R&R visiting Hilton Head Island with my mom and sister. Don’t worry I’ll be sharing all the deets behind our trip very soon..
Leading up to my graduation, it honestly did not seem like a big deal. I had been pursuing my Master’s part-time while working full time for a few years. Going to class at night had just become part of my routine and something I had to do. When it finally wrapped up, it hit me just how big this really was. Having MJD and our family help us celebrate the occasion made everything feel much more special and gave me even more pride in my accomplishment!
Entourage MovieWhat I’m Watching:  We started watching Entourage from the beginning to prep for the movie release. I forgot how great that show was. Plus, it’s perfect for binge watching since each episode is only 30 minutes. Ari Gold is definitely one of the best characters ever. During my girls’ getaway, we went to see the Barden Bellas in Pitch Perfect 2. While it wasn’t as great as the original, I still thought the movie was very cute and was great for a light girls’ night movie. Speaking of summer movies, what summer movie releases are you looking forward to seeing?
Zac Brown Band- Jekyll + Hyde
What I’m Listening To: Summer is the perfect season for country music. I’m absolutely loving Zac Brown Band’s newest album, Jekyll + Hyde. My favorites: Loving You Easy and Mango Tree. MJD and I are going to their concert at Fenway with friends later this summer and I seriously can’t wait. What’s on your summer soundtrack?
Blackbird Doughnuts Doughnuts & I Do's- Boston Chic Party
My favorite post this month: It’s so hard to pick just one this month- so I’m going to pick two! I had so much fun with blogger friends at both the btone Indo-Row class and Blackbird Doughnuts and I Do’s event. That’s probably the first time in history a rowing class and doughnuts were in the same sentence together 😉 . What was your favorite post this month?
What I’m looking forward to for June: I can’t wait to kick off summer and all the fun that goes with it. We’re starting the month with two of our good friends getting married in Aspen. I am so excited for my first trip there and what is sure to be a beautiful day.
xoxo, Jenna
