Life Lately, Volume 14

Hi friends! March has come and gone and with it, a hint of spring arrived… except for that time when it snowed on the first official day of Spring. πŸ™‚

Between seeing flowers starting to bloom during a visit to the High Line in NYC to checking out the Boston Flower Show, I’ve been super ready for the new season and all theΒ blooms and new pretty things that come with it.

What I’m Reading: Went back to my summer reading list and finished off one I didn’t get to earlier, In The Unlikely Event by Judy Blume. It was a good read and very interesting as the novel was based on a true story of plane crashes that happened in New Jersey. I knew nothing about them so I definitely was intrigued. Note to self: Probably not the best book toΒ read while you are travelling (and flying on a plane). I just checked Rosemary off my list too and I loved learning more about the Kennedys.

What I’m Watching: We watched House of Cards a bit too fast. As soon as it was over, I wished it could keep going! Don’t want to add any spoilers here for those of you who may not of watched, but I really liked this season.

What I’m Loving Around The Web: Caroline’s spring tablescape , Becca’s Cadbury Egg Cookie Bars (yum!), Kerrie’s pink dress and checking out Grace’s pics from her trip to Charleston is having me counting down the days until we head there in September.

My Favorite March Posts on BCP: My go-to red top is a fave for date night- and you guys loved it too! I started a new Behind The Brand series with the first feature on Rebecca Greeley of The Ripe Stuff- so excited about this series! I’m still dreaming about this meal from Gilbert’s Underground Kitchen!

What I’m looking forward to in April: Hopefully consistently spring like temps, the start of bridal shower season and working on some fun hostess with the mostest pieces for the blog πŸ™‚

Did you have a favorite blog post this month? What are you most looking forward to for April?

xoxo, Jenna

I don’t know what’s more addictive – mini eggs on their own or those mini egg magic bars!

I don’t know what’s more addictive – a bag of mini eggs on its own or baked into those magic bars! hope to see you soon!

Ugh, where is the April spring weather?! My bday is on the 14th and I’d really like to have warmer temps- and no snow- by then! Also, HOC is up next on our list of shows to watch… I just need to finish my BoxFIIT certification first (breaking bad was a huge distraction to have during the start of my certification!).
