Starting off this month’s Life Lately with some big news… MJD and I are officially homeowners! We closed on our first “home” this past Friday and are now proud owners of a condo in South Boston. I’m so excited for this next chapter in our story 🙂
I am sure there will be lots more home décor posts and recipes shared on Boston Chic Party in the future. I cannot get enough of our kitchen! As our last apartment pretty much had a hallway for a kitchen, the kitchen is something I seriously was lusting for.
Can’t wait to share more with you over the coming months, but until then hope you like the sneak peek of our kitchen 😉
What I’m watching: Sunday Night HBO is back in the best way possible- Game of Thrones, Veep and Silicon Valley are all on my must-watch list. Are any of you fans?
What I’m reading: Been a bit behind on reading recently thanks to the good old move ;), but I finally finished Carly Simon’s Boys in The Trees and it was fantastic. There was so much I didn’t know about her, her marriage to James Taylor and it was super interesting to read. I just picked up the latest Curtis Sittenfeld book today and can’t wait to dive in once things settle down a bit. What have you been reading recently?
What I’m loving around the web: Jean from Extra Petite’s amazing tips for packing for ten days in a carry on (must-read!), Morgan’s gorgeous espadrille style had me lusting for some new shoes, Amanda of Fashionable Hostess’ gorgeous kitchen is giving me tons of inspo for ours 🙂
My favorite May posts on BCP: Loved sharing this easy travel look as it’s a go-to for me and of course, making my rosé slushies was super fun. What were some of your faves this month?
What I’m looking forward to in June: Heading to the Beyoncé concert tonight (YAY!), a weekend visiting my sister in NYC, kicking off summer wedding season and of course, decorating our new place! What do you have planned for the first month of summer?
