Something you may not know about me is I went to an all girls Catholic high school and spent those four years wearing a uniform. When you have specific rules as to what you can wear every day, you have to find other ways to be creative. Headbands and huge ribbons tied around ponytails were the go-to accessories at my high school. You should have seen my drawer of hair ribbons :).

Given my hair accessorizing ways in high school, it’s probably no surprise that Blair Waldorf is one of my favorite TV characters- and fashion icons. There is a white dress she wore in season 2 that I am still day dreaming over (seriously). To me, this outfit is very Blair inspired- from the headband to the skort. While you may have heard of Irresistible Me for their hair extensions or their hair straightener (I reviewed it here), they also offer so many cute headbands and hair accessories like the one seen here. The color and detailing on this headband adds the perfect something extra. Hopefully this look would make both Blair and my headband loving, ribbon wearing high school self proud.

      Oh my gosh, normally I am like that- always like the books more than the movie and what not. But I didn’t read the Gossip Girl books so I guess I can’t give a true opinion on this! Thanks Tess for the love 🙂
