Do you have any items on your clothing “wish list” that have been there for literally years as you look for the perfect one? Well, for the past few years a leather jacket, fur vest and over the knee boots have been on my list. I can’t even tell you how many of each of these I’ve ordered over the last couple falls and winters. It’s kind of embarrassing, but I hadn’t yet found “the one”. Really hoping I’m not the only one that does this..
That was until I tried this leather jacket from BB Dakota. I originally was looking for a black leather jacket, but then each time I tried it one on I really felt it wasn’t me. It just felt a bit too edgy for my style. Once I started looking more for brown leather jackets, I stumbled upon this army green one. The color is perfect for fall and it is such a versatile hue.
I layered the leather with two of my go-to pieces for fall, a chambray top and blanket scarf. Scratch that on chambray- it’s actually one of my faves all year round. But the blanket scarf is amazing this time of year to add a bit of extra warmth when it gets chilly or a pop of color or pattern. Thanks Kristin! My fave riding boots are Fryes- have you tried those yet? I totally understand though- it can be so frustrating when you actually want to buy something, but just can’t!
Is that jacket the one that sort of zips to the side? My mom sells it in the boutique she works at and I tried it on the other day. It is in Hopkinton…maybe one day we can meet there at lunch and look around 🙂

Yes!!!! SO pumped for blanket scarf season! Last night the hubby and I were in a restaurant and I was cold (shocking I know ;)) so I literally wrapped myself up in one of my blanket scarves. He loved it 😉 haha!
