If you are looking for a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon in Boston, look no further than SOWA Sundays! Located in the South End, the outdoor market is open every Sunday from May through October. It’s an awesome place- with delicious food trucks, beautiful produce and wonderful items for sale from local artists.
I spent last Sunday afternoon at SOWA with two of my girlfriends. We started off browsing all the food truck options- there are so many great ones, it was hard to decide! I finally settled on a consistent favorite, The Dining Car. They were offering a honey truffle goat cheese sandwich. Pretty much say the words goat cheese or truffle to me, and I am sold, so the combination was awesome! After fueling up on our lunch, we explored the farmer’s market and the artists’ work. I loved seeing all the locally inspired art- definitely made me start thinking about how I can bring some Boston into our apartment decor! I can never leave SOWA without picking up some of the amazing flowers that are always for sale there . And since it was a super hot last weekend in September, we couldn’t resist getting HUGE ice cream sandwiches from Frozen Hoagies. Pumpkin Ice cream in between two chocolate chip cookies- serious yum!
So if you have any free Sundays left in October, make sure you get to SOWA!
