The fight against breast cancer is a cause that is near and dear to my heart. With October being breast cancer awareness month, you’ll see many items popping up in stores with a portion of the proceeds going to the cause. Whether it’s something to add to your beauty routine, to accessorize your outfit or help you in the kitchen, I’ve pulled together here some of my favorite items that help raise funds for the cause.
While supporting a cure for breast cancer through shopping is a fun way to contribute, it’s a great time to also consider making a donation to directly fund research and life-saving medicines. If you are looking for somewhere to donate, some of my favorite breast cancer associated organizations are: The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, The Linda Creed Foundation and The Rena Rowan Cancer Center at University of Pennsylvania.
xoxo, Jenna
Great article! You can also purchase a specific set of lashes from House of Lashes online and a dollar goes to the fight as well.

Although this is an older post the message and means will always be the same until a cure is found. In October 2012 Tory Burch had her magenta pink Breast Cancer Awareness Eddie ballet flats for sale with a portion of the cost going to cancer research. I instantly knew I wanted a pair, it was for a great cause and the flats were really cute. In Janruary of 2014 my doctor said those 3 words you NEVER want to hear. “You have cancer.” Yes I was told I had prostate cancer which is sorta the male equivalent to women’s breast cancer. After further testing I was cleared but it was the scare of my life. Today I still think about it. I also proudly wear my pink Tory flats to show my support.
