After an indulgent weekend of too much food and drink- which let’s face it is just about every weekend 🙂 – I like to re-set on Monday morning with a smoothie. While I am typically a green smoothie kind of girl, I couldn’t wait to use some leftover pumpkin puree to make a seasonal smoothie. This pumpkin pie smoothie was the perfect way to have the seasonal flavors while having a relatively healthy breakfast. So grab your blender and get to blending- the recipe is below!
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 3/4 cup vanilla almond milk
- 1 ripe banana, cut into slices and frozen (You could also use an unfrozen banana, but be sure to add ice then)
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 and 1/4 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
Combine all ingredients into your blender. Blend until mixed well.
Pour into a glass, grab a straw and enjoy!
