Boston Buzz: My Favorite Local Stores

How great of a feeling is it when you find the perfect gift for someone? It makes me so excited to give them the gift and see their reaction! There are a few local stores in Boston that I love to go to when I am shopping for gifts. I’m excited to share them with you today- consider this post my gift to you 🙂

Gifted-Best Local Stores in Boston-Boston Chic Party
2 Dartmouth Street
South End
Gifted has been one of my favorite places to go to for unique gifts for years. From colorful scarves and jewelry to home good items, such as Boston themed coasters and holiday serving platters, Gifted will have something for everyone on your list! I’ve gone here for birthday gifts, baby gifts, housewarming gifts, Christmas gifts- you name it! The selection of cards and quirky napkins at Gifted is hard to beat. You won’t be disappointed if you make a stop in at Gifted the next time you are in the South End for brunch!
251 Shawmut Ave
South End
Farm & Fable is a new- to-me store, that is also relatively new to Boston, having opened just over a year ago. I’ve been wanting to stop by and take a look and when I did get the chance this past weekend, I was not disappointed! I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Abby when I visted and she was beyond sweet and welcoming. Farm & Fable is the perfect place to buy a gift for anyone who likes to cook or host. Abby’s curated an amazing collection of unique cookbooks, beautiful tableware and cute cards. Two of my favorite items in the store were festive, gold and white striped cheese knifes and spreaders which Abby hung from a tree like ornaments. The knife and spreader were so cute- I couldn’t resist buying some for myself and can’t wait for a festive wine and cheese night to use them!
Flat Of The Hill-Boston Chic Party
60 Charles Street
Beacon Hill
Flat Of The Hill is another one of my long-time favorite places to shop for gifts. Located on charming Charles Street, the selection of items inside the shop is just as beautiful as the location! Flat Of The Hill carries an amazing selection of Mariposa, Nest Candles, KJP jewelry and Cat Studio home decor items, among many other great gift choices. One of my favorite items that Flat Of The Hill sells are cute wooden signs in a variety of sayings- I find there’s always one that is perfectly appropriate for whomever you are shopping for.
I hope these recommendations gave you some new stores to shop at, whether for the holiday season or beyond! Both the South End and Beacon Hill are hosting holiday strolls next week if you want to visit these stores and many others during the most wonderful time of year! South End Stroll is on Wednesday, December 10th and Beacon Hill Stroll is on Thursday, December 11th. Maybe I will see you there!
xoxo, Jenna

Oh you must stop by then! I can spend an embarrassingly long time just looking through their card selection!
