Boston Buzz: My Favorite Yoga Studio

Back Bay Yoga- Boston Chic Party
Well it is officially the New Year…

I know many of us start off the year making resolutions. I’m not that big on the word resolution, but I do think the start of a new year, month, even week is a great time to make goals of new things you want to try and accomplish. Some of us may have goals going in to the new year about working out and exercising. Whether your goal is to get in better shape or just to have a regular workout routine, making my workout fun is what helps motivate me to get up and out there! By switching up the kind of classes I go to or the studios I visit, my workouts feel fresh and I avoid getting bored.

In the spirit of the new year and goal setting, over the next few weeks, I’m going to post about some of my favorite places to work out in Boston. I hope my list will help you find a new favorite class of your own :). If you don’t live in the area, keep an eye out for similar classes in your town and let me know what you find! This is the perfect time to try out something new.

I’m excited to kick off my favorites by sharing my favorite yoga class at my favorite yoga studio! I had occasionally practiced yoga for years, trying all different types and studios. Each time I left with something to be desired. That was until I tried Hip Hop Yoga at Back Bay Yoga! Located on Boylston Street in the heart of Back Bay, Back Bay Yoga offers a variety of yoga classes in beautiful, sunlit studios. The instructors are super knowledgeable, friendly and always willing to answer any question you may have (no matter how silly it may seem to you). Hip Hop Yoga is a Vinyasa Flow class set to loud, hip hop, pop and dance music. The studio is warm, the movements are fast paced and the music is amazing! Trust me, when Beyonce is blasting, chair pose seems a bit easier and numerous planks go by much faster. I love going to this class because I get a good stretch, I sweat and I have fun. I can’t tell you how fast the hour and a half flies by!

If you try Hip Hop Yoga at BBY, I’d love to hear what you think.

xoxo, Jenna
