Chocolate and hazelnut deliciousness are in every bite of these super decadent Nutella Brownies!
Okay, sorry to do this to you on day 6 of the New Year, but you were ready to bend on your resolutions, weren’t you? 🙂 I love Nutella, but I try not to buy it too often to avoid inevitably eating it straight out of the container. It’s been on my list to try making something Nutella infused for one of my Tuesday treats. This is a pretty basic recipe for brownie with the added flavors of Nutella. I think the simplicity of the recipe really allows the hazelnut and chocolate flavors to shine.
The recipe makes a 9×13 pan of brownies- how many you have will depend on the sizing you cut them. You can mix this all up by hand which can cut down the amount of items you need to clean after which is always good in my book. To make this recipe, you will use almost the entire 13 ounce Nutella container… with just enough left for eating a spoonful or two!
Happy Baking!
xoxo, Jenna
You’ll Need:
- 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)
- 1 and 3/4 cups granulated sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup flour
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup Nutella
To Make:
Spray a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick spray or line with parchment paper.
Pre-heat oven to 350 Degrees.
Melt butter in large mixing bowl. Allow to cool for a few minutes before adding next ingredients.
Once cooled a bit, add sugar, eggs and vanilla to melted butter and mix well.
Gradually add in flour, cocoa powder and baking to combine.
Scoop 1 cup of Nutella out of container and into a bowl. Microwave for about 20 seconds to slightly thin the Nutella.
Stir Nutella into brownie batter.
Once combined, pour batter into prepared baking dish.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick in the center of the brownies comes out clean. (I cooked mine for 32 minutes)
Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
