My Top Five Wedding Registry Essentials

My Top 5 Registry Essentials-Boston Chic Party

With wedding showers and wedding season around the corner, many of my bride-to-be friends have been asking me what my favorite items were on my registry. This got me thinking and I thought it’d be great to share my faves with you! I’m super excited to be partnering with fellow Boston Blogger and newlywed, Sarah of Parker The Prepster on today’s post. Whether you are a bride-to-be, bridesmaid or wedding guest, my and Sarah’s picks will give you a peek into favorite registry items from a recent bride’s point of view. So keep reading for what I picked as my registry essentials and why, plus visit Sarah’s post for her picks!

Kitchen Aid 5-Quart Stand Mixer– Obviously you know I am really into baking and there is nothing higher at the top of a baker’s wish list than a Kitchen Aid mixer. The mixer goes beyond just baking though! It’s awesome for mashed potatoes or making fresh pasta- one of MJD’s favorite uses. Plus it comes in a variety of colors that you can customize to fit your personality or style.

All Clad Stainless Steel Seven Piece Cookware Set– Pretty much the most essential cooking piece you will need, I literally use one of these items just about every time I go to cook dinner. The quality is amazing and the assortment is perfect for any and all chefs!

Dyson Ball Multi-Floor Upright Vacuum– When Sarah and I were talking about this post, we laughed when we both picked a Dyson vacuum as one of our essentials. I’m pretty sure I wrote the words “life-changing” about this vacuum in e-mail to her. It picks up dirt, dust, just about anything and better than any other vacuum I’ve ever used. I’m not sure how I survived before this guy!

Williams-Sonoma Pillivuyt Rectangular Porcelain Serving Platter– A white platter is the most frequently used serving piece in our home. With the neutral coloring, you can literally use it for any occasion or holiday by pairing with colored or seasonal table linens. Personally, I registered for and love this Williams-Sonoma platter, but there are many other ones out there like this one from Crate & Barrel, this one from Sur La Table and this one from West Elm which would also make great additions to your table.

Kate Spade Frames in Grace Avenue and Darling Point-After the big day, there will be so many beautiful pictures for the bride, groom and family to choose from. Showing them off in one of these gorgeous Kate Spade frames is just the treatment your wedding photos deserve.

Are you engaged? If yes, how did you pick what to register for? If you are married, what items would be a part of your registry essentials list?

Don’t forget, for more registry essentials… check out Sarah’s post!

xoxo, Jenna

I was so bad at registering when we got married! We already lived together so we had a lot of stuff and I couldn’t decide on anything!

Completely understand that, it’s so hard to decide too with all the options out there! Thanks for the love, as always 🙂

I’m going to have upgrade to your vacuum when we move to a bigger space! The smaller ones can only do so much. Fantastic picks partner!
