Happy hump day everyone! With my travels the last few weekends, this is my first five day work week in three weeks… I have a feeling tonight is going to call for some rose! #yeswayrose
Why not do some online shopping to get you through the mid-week slump? These are some of my favorite styles recently- from beach bum to wedding guest!Cover-up: Echo Butterfly Cover-up via Nordstrom Hat: Nordstrom BP Floppy Straw Hat Shoes: Jack Rogers Georgica Jelly Sandal
When I first saw Emily of The Sweetest Thing wearing this cover-up, I knew I had to have it. Paired with a floppy hat and my favorite beach sandals, it made the perfect beach day outfit. This cover-up dress is one size fits all, but don’t be scared of that. The drawstring at the waist cinches you in to create a flattering shape. The cover-up is available in a variety of colors, but I loved the blue color best.
I wore this outfit for a casual dockside dinner at Hudson’s On The Docks in Hilton Head (read more about my visit here). All of these pieces are certain to become summer-time staples for me. I love the light-weight sweater which is perfect for nights on the coast when it dips a bit cooler. And don’t get me started on these shorts- anything scalloped is an instant must-have in my mind!
My style is definitely on the classic side, but I love a bit of sparkle as much as the next girl. These shoes definitely fit both of these requirements- a neutral sandal with just the right amount of bling. I can’t wait to wear them all summer long.
Dress: Shoshanna (now on sale!) Shoes: Christian Louboutin Earrings: Bauble Bar (no longer available, two other green pairs I love from Bauble Bar and Kendra Scott linked here) Bracelet: gorjana Elea cuff via Rocksbox
I wore this outfit to our friends’ wedding out in Aspen. It was a beautiful wedding and a great celebration for an amazing couple who were just oozing love on their big day! MJD and I had a blast celebrating with them! When I was looking for a dress for the wedding, this one caught my eye. I always love a little black dress, but this one with it’s subtle stripes, pockets and cute straps added some interest to a typical LBD. Pops of color on my lips and with my jewelry finish off my wedding look!
A few nights ago I had the pleasure of joining a bunch of Boston Blogger babes on Karma Crew Yacht Charters yacht. It was a beautiful night overlooking the gorgeous Boston skyline. When I was picking out my outfit, I knew I wanted to go with something nautical inspired for a night on board. There’s nothing more nautical to me than blue and white. This blazer from Loft has become a staple in my closet this season. It’s a more polished version of the jean jacket and is a great topper for just about any outfit. By the way, can you tell I love Rocksbox? You can sign up for yourself and get your first month free using my code, JENNABFF175.
Happy Wednesday night shopping 🙂
