Last week I was lucky enough to attend a “Bloggers on Board” event with Karma Crew Yacht Charters. Karma Crew invited a number of Boston Bloggers to visit their yacht and enjoy a night at their East Boston dock. Though the night was a bit overcast, it was a fantastic evening exploring the yacht, seeing blogger friends and toasting with some yummy Karma Coladas.
Karma Crew Yacht Charters’ yacht, Full Moon, is a beautiful boat- even for people, like me, who know little about boats. One of the only original wooden hull yachts you can rent, it gives off a Old-Hollywood vibe. Similar boats to Full Moon, built in 1948, were owned by Elizabeth Taylor and the DuPont family. And now, thanks to Karma Crew Yacht Charters you can experience the beauty of the boat and the Boston Harbor for yourself.
Full Moon can be rented for private events and holds up to 48 people. I think it would be such a fun way to hold a rehearsal dinner, bachelorette party or another event giving your guests a different view of Boston than what they are used to. Catherine, the owner of the boat, is so sweet and would be great to work with for planning your special event.
Want to take a ride with Karma Crew Yacht Charters, but aren’t able to charter the boat? Don’t worry- Karma also offers ticketed cruise events. With a variety of themes from a brunch cruise to an oysters and craft brews cruise, there is something to appeal to everyone. I think the oysters and craft beer cruise sounds amazing and I know one special guy in my life who would love that combination!
Thanks to Catherine, Karma Crew Yacht Charters and Meghan of Travel,Wine,Dine for a fabulous night aboard the Full Moon. If you want to see Boston from a different perspective, check out Karma Crew Yacht Charters!
Boston is a beautiful city, especially when glimpsed from the harbor! Renting out a yacht for the evening is a perfect way to enjoy the city. The fact that you’re able to invite all your friends is an even bigger bonus.
