One of my favorite things about Boston is that no matter how long you’ve lived here, there is always something new to do and see.
Take for example the setting of this post- The Fenway Rose Garden, also known as the Kelleher Rose Garden. Despite living in Boston for 7 years( which may seem like a long or short time depending on who is reading this 😉 ), I had never heard of, let alone been to, this stunning spot! Nestled into the Back Bay Fens, I fell in love with the Fenway Rose Garden at first sight. I literally could not stop taking photos of the flowers and every detail! I’ll be forever grateful to my blogging buddy, Sarah, for suggesting we meet there for an outfit shoot and introducing me to this enchanting garden.
Like many of the flowers we saw at the rose garden that day, pink and green is one of my all-time favorite color combos. I love it in every version of this combination- whether neon colors in a Lilly dress, or more on the pastel side like the mint and blush I’m wearing here. I hope you like it too- as I have a feeling this isn’t your last time seeing the color combination on Boston Chic Party!
Your turn- what “new to you” spot did you recently discover in your city or town that you couldn’t believe you hadn’t seen before?
PS- Special thanks to Sarah of Parker The Prepster for taking these photos! Check out Sarah’s post at the same spot here!
I have never heard of this garden, and I am definitely going to check it out. Lovely photo shoot!
You’d love it there Meghan!
I too was at a loss for this one. Thought when you mentioned it by the Fens, but rarely there. Thanks for the tip. Love the shoes.
It’s gorgeous, right? So glad I now know this spot!
Yay! The pictures turned out gorgeous. I adored your outfit. Can’t wait for future posts!
Thanks Sarah! It was so much shooting together the first time and I’m so happy we are continuing to do it 🙂
