The delicious combination of peanut butter and banana make their way to your cereal bowl in this granola recipe that pairs perfectly with MilkWise.
I love granola- whether it’s for breakfast, sprinkled on yogurt or plain as a snack (what you’ve never eaten a handful of granola before?)- it’s crunchiness and sweetness makes me happy! I’m always looking for new granola combinations and somehow had the idea to bring my favorite flavor combination, peanut butter and banana, into granola. I’m kind of upset I hadn’t thought of this earlier. Serious yum!
While there are so many ways to eat granola, a simple bowl of granola with milk is one I reach for over and over again. I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve had a rocky relationship with milk for the past several years. In fact I can’t really tell you the last time I had milk (outside of the occasional coffee-shop coffee) as I’ve been using almond milk or soy milk in place of real milk for years.
That’s why I’m so excited to share MilkWise with you today. MilkWise is a new dairy beverage with less calories and sugar than traditional milk, but more calcium! MilkWise will be turning the milk industry on it’s head, starting with their launch this month in the New England area (stay tuned for more details on the launch). I was really excited to get the opportunity to try MilkWise’s three flavors- Original, Vanilla and Reduced Sugar Vanilla. All are delicious and had me reaching for the MilkWise for my morning granola.
My Peanut Butter and Banana Granola goes perfectly with MilkWise’s original milk beverage. With only 70 calories and 45% of your daily calcium in each 8 ounce serving, MilkWise’s Original is a milk beverage that you’ll feel good about. Try it with the recipe below, one of my previous granola recipes or your favorite cereal- and let me know what you think!
xoxo, Jenna

Bake for 45 minutes, shaking the pan every 15 minutes while baking.
Once removed from oven, allow granola to cool for a few hours before storing.
Place granola in air tight container until ready to use. Granola will stay in air tight container for up to two weeks.
