One of the highlights of my October was receiving an invitation to the Jonathan Joseph Peters show during Boston Fashion Week! It was my first fashion show experience and it was an amazing one filled with gorgeous designs.
When I got the invite, I immediately scoured my closet for something to wear. Of course, nothing seemed perfect for the event ;), so I took this as a sign to take a trip to Nordstrom. Whenever I’m stuck on an outfit for a special occasion, they always seem to have something that does the trick. I pulled a bunch of dresses from the racks including the one I am wearing here from cupcakes and cashmere. Emily Schuman is one of my all-time favorite bloggers and one of the first blogs I started reading. I took it as a sign that this was the right dress for me since I loved it so much! Plus, the price seemed reasonable to me for such a gorgeous LBD. I love the fit of this dress and am already planning to wear it for a few other occasions in November and December. I can’t wait to wear it again!
Have you ever bought something from a blogger-turned-designer’s line? What did you think?
xoxo, Jenna

Thanks Kristen! I’m thinking the same! Two of my friends are having a “Roaring 20’s” themed birthday party and I feel like it will be perfect for that too!
That is a fabulous outfit!

Thanks Jenn! Red is one of my favorite accent colors for sure 🙂
The Double-cloth lady coat from J.Crew is a wardrobe staple. I would definitely order it in several shades.
Happy Monday Jenna 🙂
