This past weekend MJD and I attended the dreamiest winter wedding in Philadelphia! We celebrated our good friends and their love with a beyond gorgeous reception at The Fairmount Park Horticulture Center. Seriously the whole thing was swoon worthy- check out my instagram for a peek at their décor.

When we received the invite for this black-tie event in the midst of the holiday season, I knew I wanted to wear something special. I took a quick look at Rent The Runway and immediately fell in love/lust with this dress. Gold, sparkly, with a flattering shape- it seemed perfect for a winter wedding!

And the truth is it was perfect! I felt super glamorous in this dress and was getting compliments on it all night. I would absolutely rent this dress again. For those of you who are considering it for yourself, the dress runs true to size. As a shorty (5 foot, 2!), I ordered the regular in this dress and the length worked well with a heel. You can see in the photos that it is slightly long for me, but that can easily be solved with a higher heel. I also considered this emerald sequin dress which looks like it’d be drop dead gorgeous on. If you want something short and sparkly, this gold dress would be an amazing option.

Do you have any winter weddings on your calendar in 2016? What are you planning to wear?

xoxo, Jenna

PS- one last pic to share of MJD and I at the reception. Sending all my love and the biggest thanks to my hubby for supporting me through all of this blogging fun! You really are the best and I love you!
