At the risk of repeating what every other Bostonian is saying right now, it’s cold, guys. Like really cold. Remember that 60-degree Christmas? Yeah, distant memory now. I think we all knew it would catch up to us at some point, but after last winter I was wishing that maybe, just maybe, Mother Nature forgot we were supposed to have a winter in Boston.
Anyways, while the occasional few inches can top the city in a pretty blanket of snow, I often get pretty unmotivated about what I am wearing this time of year. Sweater dresses to the rescue! It’s practically the same thing as wearing a big sweater and leggings, but make it a sweater dress and you look a bit more pulled together. I love this one from Ann Taylor, which as you know is one of my fave stores. The color is great for winter, but not blah enough to increase my winter blues. Plus you can go casual with say snow boots or step things up for a night out with a heeled bootie.
Are you a sweater dress fan?
xoxo, Jenna

I love that dress- I think I almost bought it a little while ago. I’m wearing a Loft dress today, actually, which I love because it’s long-sleeved!

Love both Loft and Ann Taylor! Those two, Nordstrom and J.Crew are my favorite places to shop 🙂

Totally agree! Two of my faves 🙂
I love sweater dresses. Those, boots, and tights are basically my winter work uniform when I have to leave my home office.

I know, Emily! The coldness has been super hard for dressing cute, but I think this weekend will be a bit warmer! Yay! xoxo!
I have a hard time finding ones I think are flattering for my figure, but as a general rule of thumb I love sweater dresses … if that makes sense 🙂
