Boston Buzz: Alice’s Table

Looking for something fun and unique to do for your next girl’s night out? Alice’s Table has literally answered your prayers!

Alice’s Table offers floral arranging classes at Boston area bars and restaurants. Flower arranging with cocktails- sounds like the recipe for a perfect night with your girl’s if you ask me! A 90 minute  class starts with a delish cocktail and then you follow along with your instructor to make a gorgeous flower arrangement to bring home.  Unlike some other crafty night out events, taking home a flower arrangement at the end of the night is super exciting- plus it is even better because you made it yourself!

Boston Buzz- Alice's Table- Boston Chic Party-3

In addition to their classes at local bars, Alice’s Table currently has a pop-up shop located at The Street in Chestnut Hill. A few weeks ago, I had a blast attending one of Alice’s classes at the pop up with some Boston Blogger friends. We made a gorgeous arrangement of pinks, whites and greens, filled with fluffy hydrangeas, pink garden roses and chic calla lilies. Going into the class, I was a bit nervous about how my arrangement was going to turn out, but Alice was super helpful with her step by step instructions. Most of the other girls felt the same way, so we had fun and definitely a few laughs when we weren’t sure what to do next. There was also plenty of Justin Bieber gossip involved 🙂  I loved how at the end of the night, while we all followed the same instructions and used the same flowers, each of our arrangements looked different and reflected our personal styles. I made mine pretty tight, rounded and classic (I am partial to that kind of look in arrangements), while Amanda of Prim & Propah had a gorgeous, rustic-inspired, and textured arrangement that totally reminds me of her free-spirited personality. It was so cool to see!

Alice’s Table is located at The Pop Up At The Street from now until February 16th- perfect timing to check out a class before Valentine’s Day or to pop up in to purchase some flowers (and other goodies!) from them. Alice is also hosting a number of events at The Street, like a flower arranging class for guys at Shake Shack on February 13th…how special would it be if your guy made your Valentine’s flower arrangement?!

If you can’t make it to The Street before the pop-up closes, don’t worry- you can catch Alice’s Table at one of their many other events around town with cocktails too! The events are perfect for a birthday celebration, bachelorette party activity or just because. I can’t wait to go back with some of my girlfriends to make another arrangement!

xoxo, Jenna
