Okay, confession…these photos were taken in late January in Florida during a trip to see my grandparents. The weather was a bit cooler during my trip than I hoped for- pretty similar to the early spring like weather we are having in Boston right now.
While other planned posts may have gotten in the way of sharing these pics earlier, it’s working out perfectly because this outfit is a great example of how to transition into spring using what’s in your closet already! Layers, like this knit jacket, are perfect for spring as sometimes that sunny looking day isn’t as warm as you thought. Adding in a light color from the white jeans makes this look fresher for spring, as opposed to wearing dark denim which is how I would rock this look in the winter. Ankle booties or lace-up flats ( my faves !) top off the perfect casual, spring tweed look.
Would love your ideas too- how do you transition your existing wardrobe to get spring-ready?
xoxo, Jenna
This is great! I get so annoyed with getting dressed this time of year. Cold in the morning, too warm in the afternoon, to wear tights or not?

The tights question is plaguing me right now too! I think my legs are too pale to not wear them… 🙂
Thanks Meghan!
What a great jacket! I’m always a big fan of anything tweed. Love the look!

Thanks girl!
Super cute! I wanted to wear white jeans last weekend and Roberto goes “Umm, aren’t you supposed to wait until Memorial Day for white?” hahaha little does he know fashion trends and rules have changed! I always shave a hard time figuring out when to ditch the tights… the white legs get me every time!

Feeling the same way about tights! And yes, tell him the rules have changed! Winter white, hello!
Thanks lady 🙂
Love this look! That jacket is perfect!!

Love this look! Super chic and the jacket is so special and reminds me of a Chanel 🙂 Love Nadri it is one of my go to jewelry brands for simple pieces and the quality is unbelievably good.

i have such a hard time with the transition – i’ll be wearing sweaters and skiing until it’s 70 degrees. okay, maybe not skiing this year since the snow is so bad. anyways, i love the tweed jacket, so chic and so you!

Aw thanks Kristen! You are too sweet! Maybe snow this weekend for you…? Though I am hoping the forecast is wrong! Happy Friday!
Love you in this look! The dark tweed looks so good with the white pants, a perfect spring transition look.

Thanks so much, girl! I wear so many dark colors in the winter I love that pairing them with white jeans can instantly make a look more springy!
