Happy Friday, y’all! Let’s have a virtual happy hour together today, shall we?
I’m super excited to share today’s cocktail recipe with you for a few reasons… First, because I was inspired to make it after my recent trip to Nashville and trying something similar at Pinewood Social. Two, because it’s so good and perfectly summery, it’s become a new go-to. And last but not least, because I’m partnering on today’s post with Drizly who I am super excited to be collaborating with as one of their Top Shelf Bloggers!
Drizly is an absolutely amazing service that allows you to order your favorite beer, wine, liquor and have it delivered to your door in less than an hour! Drizly works with local vendors to bring items to you- and never at a price higher than in store. All you have to do is download the app or visit the site, search for your favorites, set a delivery time and voila- just like that your drink of choice is on it’s way.
Not only does Drizly make things super convenient and literally save you a trip to the store, but they are also there for you in a pinch! Has anyone else ever been getting ready for friends to come over, and forgot to check their bar until an hour before only to find that the bottle of vodka you thought you had is actually pretty close to empty? Only me? Well, with Drizly, you would never have to worry about it- you could just set up a delivery and there you go, vodka on demand. Talk about service 🙂
So, let’s kick off the first official weekend of summer with my Sparkling Pineapple & Vodka Cocktail- the name may not be fancy, but it is definitely delicious, light and refreshing. It takes vodka, pineapple juice, St. Germain and prosecco and combines it into a drink you’ll be reaching for again and again. .And if you are lacking on ingredients, don’t worry, Drizly has you covered (check here for all cities they deliver in)!
Makes two cocktails
- 3 ounces vodka (my favorite is Ketel One)
- 2 ounces St. Germain
- 6 ounces pineapple juice
- Prosecco (sparkling wine) to top
- Pineapple to garnish
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add in vodka, St. Germain and pineapple juice.
Shake well and strain into highball glass filled with ice.
Top off the glass with your favorite prosecco.
Gently stir and garnish with pineapple to serve.
FYI-Thanks to Drizly for partnering on this post! All opinions, images and recipe are my own.
