Happy National Sunglasses Day! Yes, yes, a totally random holiday- but who doesn’t love a great pair of sunnies, especially in the summer!
To celebrate I’m pairing up with Randolph Engineering– a family owned company based in Massachusetts hand making sunglasses right here in my home state known for making the signature aviator sunglasses for the United States Air Force. Their shades are absolutely classics and I am loving my pair of Concorde sunnies.ย They are the perfect pair to wear for all of this summer’s adventures, including checking things off my summer “to-do” list.
I’m somewhat list obsessed so it came as no surprise to MJD when I mentioned this to-do list the other day. Lucky for me, my hubby likesย puts up withย my ideas, especially when they involve lobster rolls ๐
My Summer To-Do List
- Have a lobster roll at James Hook + Co. (check!)
- Go kayaking on The Charles
- Plan a picnic dinner on Castle Island (or one of the other parks in our new neighborhood)
- Take an outdoor yoga or fitness class
- Visitย one of Boston’s roof top pools
- Perfect my own alcoholic popsicle recipe
What’s on your summer to-do list? No matter how big or small the adventure, taking your fave sunnies along for the ride is essential and you could win FOUR new pairs of sunglasses from Randolph to take along with you. All you have to do is watch the video below, take note of the code word at the end of the video and then visit this site for more details.
xoxo, Jenna

Would love to hear more about your summer plans in a blog post, Kait!
National Sunglasses Day is essential!! Love it!! I loved reading your Summer To Do List…I am now thinking about mine (and yes, it’s VERY similar to yours!!)
1. Crabs on the deck
2. Finally pull the trigger on the paddle boards we’ve been talking about for 3 years (summers)
3. Take the kids to beach at my alma mater and have a picnic
4. Take a yoga class at the waterfront
Now that they are officially written out, I feel that it’s necessary that I report back at the end of the summer :-)))))

Thanks Gunjan! The sunnies are a new fave ๐
jenna–i feel like you can easily lure anyone with a lobster roll!! that is one thing i love about the east coast (not to mention it’s cool summers) i think your summer to do list is totally DO-ABLE, don’t disappoint me jenna, but i think you are pretty type A and will have the urge to cross each one off the list. lmk how kayaking is and absolutely, the alcoholic popsicle needs to be PERFECTED. xoxo,

All the more reason for you to come visit New England- we have lobster rolls ๐ xoxo!
This year, I opted to skip out on the summer to-do list… getting married is the only “to-do” I’m focused on this summer ๐ That lobster roll looks so good… we had THE BEST lobster roll at the Raw Bar at the Popponessett Inn in New Seabury on the Cape. I’m sure we will be back next week!
Also, if you’re looking for an outdoor fitness class, I have just the one for you: on August 25th i’m teaching a cardio Kickboxing class outside at Legacy Place! It’s a free event and there will be refreshments served after (literally, Burpees to Bubbly!). xoxo

Getting married is a big enough to-do on it’s own, Monique!! I can’t wait for your pictures ๐ And thanks for letting me know about the class! What time is that at? I would LOVE to be there! xoxo!
I love love family owned local companies! This sounds so cool.
I need to get on my to-do list so I can keep an eye on what I do this summer! Love this idea – thank you so much for that.
