We’ve already covered this here on Boston Chic Party, but new workout clothes definitely have a way of getting me motivated to workout. One thing I haven’t really tried out yet is the printed legging trend, so when Yummie by Heather Thomson sent me these awesome capris I was super excited.to wear them. Paired with their racerback tank, it makes for the perfect workout look!

Since we’ve moved to South Boston, I’ve been trying to take advantage of running by the water and Castle Island. It’s one of my favorite workouts right now, so it was only natural that I snapped these photos at Castle Island. Besides that, I love switching things up and going to different classes around Boston, especially barre and spinning. For spin, I’m a big fan of getting my cardio on during the classes at Cyc Fitness and Flywheel. I also love adding barre into my weekly schedule- it is a total body workout that completely challenges me every single time. My faves in the city? Xtend Barre and The Bar Method. If you live outside the city, I also have to mention Pure Barre Sudbury– my sister-in-law is a teacher there and will give all you suburban ladies a killer class!

What are your favorite ways to workout? Boston friends, any classes I need to check out?

xoxo, Jenna

I loveeee new workout clothes!!! And since it’s partly my “uniform”, I use that excuse to buy more than I probably should 😉 funky patterns and designs are my most favorite- the crazier the better! I joke that it keeps members awake when i’m up in front teaching them 🙂 I’ve been doing barre about once a week and it is growing on me, although I’m not very good at it. I’d love for you to come check out one of my classes sometime- Monday nights in the seaport are so fun!! xo

I loveee Cyc! You need to take a class with Keoni when he comes to the Boston location-he’s absolutely incredible! I also just took a class at Btone pilates yesterday and I’m SO sore! We should take a class together sometime! I need all the motivation I can get 🙂

Would LOVE to take a class together. Btone is soooo tough! Their reformer classes and their row classes are a lot of fun, but leave me sore for days!

This is a super cute workout outfit! I have to check out their stuff. I also love Barre & Soul which has a few locations in Boston and Portsmouth, NH! I went to one their classes with Janna when she visited. xo Annie
