Okay, so it’s a bit ironic that I am posting a super trendy look today after my blog post a few days ago about classic style. But like I said, girlfriend doesn’t like to be tied down to only one look.

So a bit about flares… When they first came back on to the scene last fall, I was pretty anti-flares and I remember saying I would never wear them again. Cut to today when I am rocking them in a very 70s inspired look. The funny thing is that when skinny jeans first became popular, I remember saying the same thing, “Oh I’ll never wear those”. 🙂 Isn’t it funny how we sometimes makes snap decisions about trends before we try them? I’m obviously now a total skinny jeans girl and these flares are making my legs look miles long ,so I am into them too.

When I’m looking to try out a trend for the first time that I’m not 100% sure on, I try to look for a good deal before I really invest. One of the places that I look for these is Old Navy. I was pumped to find my new flares there and for under $30! Can’t beat that!

I’d love to hear…. are there any styles you said you would never wear that you are now rocking? Where do you shop for trendy pieces when you don’t want to break your budget?

xoxo, Jenna

I love the top and clutch! I’m the same way when trying a new trend. Find something with a good deal to try it out before investing in pieces.

I felt the exact same way about flares!!! I loved the skinny on bottom and flowy on top look we’ve had for the last couple of years. BUT I am finally turning the page on flares too!! And holy long legs!!
