Gift Guide For The Holiday Hostess

for-the-holiday-hostess-gift-guide-boston-chic-partyWith Thanksgiving right around the corner and the full holiday party season right behind it, hostess gifts are definitely on my mind. I like having a bunch of them on hand so when we head out to a party I can just grab and go. As you can probably tell, some of my staple hostess gifts include candles, serve ware for entertaining and of course, some bubbly! These items can be found at some of my favorite stores, but I also loving shopping some of the small boutiques in Boston like Neatly Nested in Southie and Gifted in the South End for unique hostess gifts.

One. Williams-Sonoma Copper & Marble Monogram Cheese Board: Probably the chicest cheese board ever! Who doesn’t love marble, copper accents and a monogram? Y’all know I do!

Two. The Essential New York Times Book of Cocktails: Any holiday hostess has to have some good cocktail recipes up their sleeve! Help them out with this book that is just as practical as it is pretty- perfect for a coffee table book or decorating a bar cart.

Three. Crate & Barrel Metallic Dot Champagne Flutes: The metallic touches make these flutes perfect for the holiday season and beyond- plus the price point makes them easy to pick up a set of four for a nice gift.

Four. Rewined Candles: Some of my favorite candles and they are easy to customize for your hostess as they come in different wine varieties. Grab a rose candle for your girlfriend who’s motto is #roseallday and a cabernet sauv candle for your aunt and uncle hosting Thanksgiving. Everyone I’ve ever given these candles to absolutely loves them!

Five. Crate & Barrel Mingle Decanter: At under $50, this decanter is a great piece for serving up some sparkle with your drinks. Another piece that would look fab on a bar cart too!

Six. Voluspa Holiday Travel Tin Candles: Voluspa are my other favorite brand of candle and their adorable tins make them super pretty to sprinkle around your house too! These tins are holiday inspired, but in a chicer way thank your traditional red and green. I’m absolutely picking up a few of these sets to have on hand!

Seven. Veuve Clicquot: Obviously can never go wrong with bringing a bottle of your host’s favorite booze to their party. I love bringing some bubbly because it’s fun and a nice treat, but if your host/hostess is more into red wine, bourboun, etc., picking out a special version of their favorite drink is the way to go as you know they will love it even more.

I’d love to hear- what are some of your go-to hostess gifts for the holiday season?

xoxo, Jenna
