What’s  better than spending the day brunching with your girlfriends, sipping on rosé, munching your fave doughnuts and being surrounded by anything and everything pink? There really isn’t much better- besides maybe a shopping spree with no budget ;)! With Valentine’s Day approaching I wanted to get together with some of my closest girlfriends to celebrate my galentines and from that, this roses and rosé brunch was born.

Once I invited the gals over, I couldn’t resist shopping for #allthepink. I found so many cute things at Target, including the vases which were really highball glasses and the blush and gold candy bowls. The “vases” come in both a lighter pink and this darker/brighter one you see here. Filled with pink roses, they doubled as party décor and also as favors for my friends once they left. Don’t you just love something that does double duty? Another thing I found at Target that may be a surprise to you- the runner, which is actually wrapping paper! A while ago I read about the idea of using wrapping paper as a runner and finally was motivated to try it after spotting this adorable paper while aimlessly browsing the Valentine’s Day aisles at Target. I love the way it turned out and it’s an easy way to add a colorful runner without investing in something pricier. I secured mine to the tablecloth to keep it stable and it stayed put the whole time.

Like I’ve done for several other parties, I ordered our rosé through Drizly. Not only did they make it super easy to get my fave kind (Whispering Angel FTW!), but it’s super convenient for anyone who lives in the city. You don’t have to worry about hauling heavy bags filled with bottles home several blocks- just order online and it’s there right on time for your par-tay.

The best part of any party of course is spending time with your loved ones. With all our crazy schedules, it was so nice to get together with my galentines and remind them how special their friendship is to me.  No matter what your relationship status, Galentine’s Day should be one we can all get on board with- because without your girlfriends, you don’t have much!

Are you planning any Galentine’s Day celebrations this year? Would love to hear how you are celebrating with your best gals!

xoxo, Jenna
