My Travel Beauty Essentials

Whether I’m headed on a weekend getaway or flying across the Atlantic for a European getaway, there are a few items that are always in my travel makeup bag. My essentials help with a beauty problems I often encounter while traveling- from keeping my hair looking fresh to moisturizing my skin and lips to making sure my makeup stays in place for a long day of exploring. If I’m headed on vaca, you can be sure the following are coming along:

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo: This dry shampoo is my end-all, be-all favorite dry shampoo! It is the best in my opinion and actually leaves my hair feeling clean which is pretty essential if you’ve just flown overnight to Europe and want to freshen up quickly before exploring your new destination. It’s also perfect for reviving your hair after a long day and before heading out for dinner.

Nars Lip Gloss in Chihuahua : To me, a nude-pink hued gloss is a necessity when traveling- it’s an easy, throw on and go color which can be worn during the day and into the nighttime too. Nars is one of my favorite brands for lip color so it’s no surprise they are included in my essentials.

Neutrogena Make-up Remover Cleansing Towelettes: The easiest way to take your makeup off- whether it’s during a red eye flight or at the end of a long night. Target sells a travel size pack of these and I always have them on hand when I am going away.

Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray: I’ve really put this product to the test over the years- with probably the toughest test being the 90 degree days in Rome during our honeymoon. The All Nighter spray keeps your makeup in place all day so you’ll be looking your best no matter how long ago you left your hotel.

L’occitane Hand Cream: My hands are always super dry when traveling- whether its from the dry air on the plane or drying soap out and about. I swear by L’occitane’s hand creams for dry hands and this travel size one is usually in my purse for every day and in my carry on bag when I travel.

Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask: Another thing that dries out when I travel? My lips! Bite’s agave lip mask saves my lips on the driest of days- I like to put it on before bed, but you can absolutely wear it any time of day since it just gives your lips a nice glossy look.

Fresh Tinted Lip Treatment in Berry: This is another favorite lip product- it’s essentially a chapstick with color so you can moisturize while adding a hint of color. It’s perfect for daytime or just to add a subtle touch of color while protecting your lips during your plane ride or at the beach (it has SPF in it too!).

What essentials are always in your travel beauty bag? I’d love to hear!

xoxo, Jenna

I want your luggage tag! I also love the Living Proof dry shampoo, and good to know about the all-nighter spray from UD since I’ve yet to pull the trigger on buying that.
