While I’m all about holding on to summer until the last official day (September 21st to be exact), we’ve been getting some weather recently in Boston that feels downright fall like as opposed to mid-August. You know those days where it’s warm but there’s a crispness to the air? Well the other morning was a bit like that so it inspired me to wear some more transitional pieces as I got dressed. Here are a few ways I kept this casual look both summer appropriate, with just a touch of fall:
1.Swapped out the white jeans for traditional blue jeans. That’s an easy way to look a bit more fall for me as I pretty much only wear white jeans all summer!
2. Wear a tank or tee that’s warm weather approved in a fall color. To be honest, red is a color for all year round, but I do love it for fall maybe because it matches the leaves.
3. Darker neutral accessories like my tortoise earrings, leopard clutch and suede shoes bring a richer, fall feel to the look. These wedges are perfect for spring, summer and fall (well early fall) in New England so are worth the investment!
What are some of your tips for starting to dress a little more fall like?
