My crock pot is probably my favorite kitchen gadget. There’s nothing better than throwing the ingredients in, setting the timer and having dinner make itself. I don’t typically use it too much in the summer, so when fall rolls around I feel like I am all excited about crock pot season again. Between the fall and winter months, my crock pot will get quite a workout making cozy and comforting meals. I’ve shared a bunch of recipes over the years, but there are a few that are old favorites that I make time and time again. Figured I’d share them today in case you are crock pot obsessed this time of year like me!
Shredded Buffalo Chicken– I make this chicken for sliders/sandwiches or to put on top of salads. For some reason I’ve been a bit adverse to chicken during pregnancy, but I’m all about this shredded buffalo chicken! Making a batch over the weekend for lunch is great too.
SkinnyTaste’s Crock Pot Chicken and Black Bean Tacos– Taco Tuesday anyone? Another shredded chicken variation made in the crock pot that makes for a perfect taco filling! Would also be great as part of a taco salad if that is more your thing. Plus you can add guac to it so #winning!
Crock Pot Turkey Chili– I make this more than I like to admit, but it’s perfect for football Sundays and makes enough for leftovers for us to either eat later in the week or freeze. You can tweak it if you have favorite chili additions or toppings to your liking too!
SkinnyTaste’s Crock Pot Balsamic Pork– I’m not even the biggest fan of pork, but this balsamic pork recipe via SkinnyTaste is amazing. It’s super easy to make, super moist from being in the slow cooker and can be paired with just about anything. My mom and a few of my girlfriends are also really into this recipe- it’s tried and true!
