There have been a few clothing styles that have become my pregnancy “go-to”‘s recently. Capes, ponchos, ruanas- whatever you call them- have all been essential for me the last few weeks. It easy to dress them down as seen in the first look with the A Ruby poncho or to dress them up a bit with heels and a fun earring as seen in the second look.
Before my baby bump filled in a bit, my growing stomach sometimes just looked like extra weight around the middle. I honestly never thought about this before getting pregnant myself, but there is a bit of an awkward stage where you don’t necessarily look pregnant yet, but you don’t look the same. Capes and ponchos made me feel a bit more comfortable and confident. I also love that these oversized styles will be just as cute and cozy next fall/winter without a bump! Total essential- whether you are expecting or not 🙂
Do you like to wear ponchos or capes?
xoxo, Jenna
