Well it may have snowed here in Boston over the weekend, but with 60 degree temps in the forecast for later this week, I’m doing all the spring dreaming! In some ways I’m so ready for spring- can’t wait to meet baby boy and also pretty over the cold weather. On the other hand, we’ve got a lot to do before baby time so trying not to rush it along! If the weather wants to get warmer though that would be okay with me 🙂

Towards the end of the first trimester when my body was just starting to grow and change, I picked up a couple looser blouse type tops from Loft. They honestly were a lifesaver because they made me feel more comfortable in my changing body- in a time when your “bump” just feels like a little extra weight. My bump has pretty much grown out of them now, making them too short to wear with maternity jeans (these pics are a few weeks old), but they were my go-to for several weeks. For all the mamas to be out there, I would definitely recommend finding a few items that make you feel good and excited to get dressed in the early stages- whatever that means to you! Now that my bump is fully bumping I feel so much more comfortable because it’s obvious that I’m pregnant. Not sure if it was just me, but I found that in between time a bit difficult!

To me this look is a perfect transition into spring- a little bit of pastel pink from the earrings and the shoes, some subtle florals in the top and of course a transitional white blazer/jacket. I am obsessed with this one! Oh and it also comes in navy for all my fellow navy loving gals.

What are some of your favorite spring transition pieces?

xoxo, Jenna
