Last week MJD and I were treated to a mid-week staycation at one of Boston’s newest hotel concepts, Stay Alfred. Stay Alfred is way more than a hotel- it is like a boutique hotel meets apartment, giving both the convenience of a hotel with the practicality of an apartment (like a kitchen, laundry, way more space, etc) in one. Part of Stay Alfred’s goal is to offer this type of accommodation in the heart of the city they are in. With several locations in Boston now available, we stayed at the Garrison Street Stay Alfred Apartments right in the Back Bay just steps from Prudential Center, Copley Square and Newbury Street.
While the location of the apartment we stayed at was amazing, the overall experience was great. I couldn’t get over how spacious the accommodations were- we stayed in a two bed and 1.5 bath apartment with a full kitchen and complete living room. Typically Mike and I don’t spend too much time worrying about the size of our hotel room, but with a little one on the way I started thinking about how nice staying in a Stay Alfred apartment would be as a family. Whether you are there for a weekend stay or a week long vacation, having a separate living room from your bedroom to watch tv is amazing and the option to store food or drink in a standard size fridge (or having to pay mini-bar prices) is fantastic. I felt like such a mom too as I noticed a Graco Pack & Play in the closet and learned that all units come with one. So basically it’s the perfect place for a new family to stay!
After sharing a virtual video tour of our “room”/apartment for that night on Insta stories, one of my friends sent me a message and said “That’s actually a super nice apartment- like way nicer than most peoples”. And he was right! Stay Alfred’s vacation rentals are just that- super nice apartments, in the heart of the city making your stay more convenient and practical. How great is that?
PS Stay Alfred is offering you 10% off with code YOURPLACE for a stay of your own at any one of their locations… I’m thinking Nashville or Chicago are on my list to visit next… 🙂
xoxo, Jenna
Stay Alfred provided me with a complimentary stay in exchange for a review. All opinions are my own.
