Maybe I’m just a really big fan of margaritas and guac, but I love me some Cinco de Mayo celebrations! In prep for the holiday, I’m rounding up some of my fave Mexican inspired recipes and cocktails, some fun graphic tees to wear while celebrating and the best places to celebrate in Boston.
Cinco De Mayo- What to Eat and Drink:
Some tacos, some margs and a sweet treat with a kick, these recipes will have your party covered if you are hosting at home.
Cinco De Mayo-What To Wear:
A cute and sassy tee repping your Cinco De Mayo faves (aka guac, margs, tacos, avocado) make for the perfect outfit.
Loco Taqueria– Love their guac, tacos and that they have a drink named after Britney Spears! We’ve also gotten really good takeout from Loco too!
Lolita– Lolita now has two locations, the original in Back Bay and their new restaurant in Fort Point. Both have a dark, mysterious, but also romantic vibe making them good for a date night. I love the stained glass bar at the Fort Point location- so pretty, plus I think it is a bit bigger so may be easier to get in for Cinco. Any restaurant that starts the meal with complimentary tequila shaved ice and ends it with cotton candy is a winner!
Citrus & Salt– I recently went to Citrus & Salt for an event and while I can’t really attest to the food (the guac and mocktails were good!), the pink, bright decor makes it a great spot fora girls night out. I’m sure you’ve seen this restaurant on Instagram by now and that’s because it really is just down right grammable!
I love Cinco! Great choices all around xoxo
