It’s Saint Patrick’s Day week and here in Boston that means lots of parties and celebrations. If you are planning for a festive day of your own, I’m sharing a few of my own recipes and some from friends that are fit for a leprechaun. Whether Guinness or cupcakes are more your thing, there’s something for everyone!
Dutch Oven Irish Soda Bread– A quintessential Irish tradition made in your dutch oven for easy prep, this soda bread is not only delicious, but can be served at every meal on St Patrick’s day from breakfast all the way to dinner. It also may help soak up any beers you drink too 🙂
Lucky St. Patrick’s Day Cupcakes– Kate’s blog is one of my go-to’s for recipes and entertaining inspiration. No surprise then that I am drooling over these Lucky Charms topped cupcakes she shared for the holiday. The color coordination and ombre-ish display would be a great party center piece!
Guinness Ice Cream Floats– A sweeter way to enjoy your St Paddy’s day beer- with a scoop of ice cream! Make root beer floats for the kiddos complete with green sprinkles and make this Guinness version for the adults.
Guinness Cupcakes– Another sweet way to enjoy a little bit of Guinness, baked into your cupcakes! These are a party pleaser for sure!
Lucky Charms Treats– Caitlin from The Mama Notes always shares such fun seasonal treats that are kid friendly too! These are like a rice krispie treat but with Lucky Charms. I’m planning on saving lots of her recipes to make with Nicholas once he gets a bit older 🙂
Happy Saint Patrick’s Day! Hope you have a fantastic one!
