My Fave Five: May 2019

First things first, doesn’t that face just make you melt? Obviously biased, but I can’t get over his little smile!

Anyways, another month, another fave five post! I’m getting summer ready in this post with one of my fave summer foods, some new skincare, a favorite app, cute kids clothes and some feel good music!

Vineyard Vines for Target Kids’ Collection– If you saw my Instagram story a few weeks ago, you know I went to Target at 7:20 AM on the launch day. Not sure what I was thinking, but I actually was surprised by how many people were there. I primarily was hoping to buy some items for NIcholas’ since their kids stuff was so cute and very reasonable priced! I basically bought everything available in store in his size (it wasn’t much) and then decided the line was so cute I bought stuff for my best friend’s son and my niece too. I ended up with this tee, this rash guard, these printed shorts (my sister found them) and a navy polo for Nicholas. So made out pretty well considering the sell out!

Row 34’s Buttered Lobster Roll– Not necessarily a new favorite, but since I went to Row 34 a few nights ago with girlfriends, it is fresh in my mind. Summer is lobster roll season and my favorite in Boston is hands down the buttered roll at Row 34. SO good. Swap out the chips for their shoestring fries. Also pairing this meal with rose is a requirement!

The Ordinary Skincare Line– After hearing about The Ordinary, decided to order a few items during my most recent Sephora order. The Ordinary calls themselves “clinical formulations with integrity” and aim to be revolutionary in pricing as well. I’m trying their Buffet Serum, Hyaluronic Acid and their Vitamin C serum. So far I am really loving them but can check back in shortly with how they work. If you are interested, they have any awesome guide that helps you pick what items to use and what order to apply in.

Lizzo’s Cuz I Love You Album- I get that I am probably really behind the times on this, but I just recently started listening to Lizzo and her Cuz I Love You Album is everything! If you haven’t listened yet and are looking for some feel good, confident, music you can run to, check it out on Spotify 🙂

The Todoist App– I’ve always been a big “to-do” list person. I’ve been using this app every day to make a list of the few things I want to accomplish that day or week and also mapping out upcoming blog posts. I love that you can label different “to-do’s” such as blog, home, work, etc… Just like checking things off a to-do list, you can virtually check off this list and get that same satisfaction!

What are some of your favorite things this month?

xoxo, Jenna

He’s precious!! I am loving Lizzo too and that’s maybe the best lobster roll in Boston! Now I am going to see if that app is available for Android…
