Easter Basket Ideas For Toddlers
Easter is coming up and while all of our celebrations are bound to look a bit different this year thanks to Covid-19, celebrating the holiday is special to me and I want to make it fun even if it is just me, MJD and Nicholas celebrating. While it will likely be just us three on Easter, I’m definitely still making Nicholas a fun Easter basket. Here are some toddler approved Easter basket ideas that I think your little ones will love too 🙂
A new board book- Nicholas loves reading so for every holiday I try to give him at least one new book. Whether you get something seasonally appropriate or a new book about a favorite topic, like trucks or animals, it is a great addition to a toddler Easter basket. I’m including Little Blue Truck Leads The Way in Nicholas’- shockingly, the only Little Blue Truck book we don’t have!
A fresh set of bubbles- With weather warming up, we will definitely be spending more time outside and is there anything better for this than bubbles?
Musical Egg Shakers– Nicholas has loved these musical “shaky eggs” since he was young. Our local library uses them during music class and they are a hit with each and every kid. I actually put these in Nicholas’ stocking at Christmas, but the egg shape is an obvious win for Easter to be on “theme”!
Stickers– We play with stickers just about every day so I’m definitely adding these to Nicholas’ Easter basket. Our favorites include trucks, Sesame Street and dogs 🙂
A beach and pool towel– Again getting ready for summer, I’m adding a beach towel to the Easter basket for something practical.
