Ten Ways To Use Overripe Bananas

It’s definitely been one of the recurring jokes/memes during COVID-19 quarantine, but I think banana bread baking is at an all time high right now. With most of us getting as many groceries as possible in a single visit or deliveries to minimize repeat visits, it is no surprise that we are left looking at some overripe bananas sitting on our counters. While I love a good banana bread, there are a bunch of other ways you can use up your overripe bananas. I thought I’d share a few of my favorites with you. Hope this inspires you to try something new!

Egg and Nut Free Banana Oat Muffins

Baked Oatmeal with Blueberries and Bananas from Skinny Taste– this is a family favorite in our house including my (almost) two year old

Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Bread from my friend Balance with B, because why make a basic banana bread 🙂

Acai & Berry Smoothie Bowls

Banana and Pumpkin Muffins from Domestikated Life– perfect if you have an extra can of pumpkin in the house, know I do!

Green Smoothie Bowls

Two Ingredient Banana Pancakes from The Kitchn

Three Ingredient Toddler Approved Breakfast Cookies

Banana and Nut Butter Overnight Oats from Freckled Foodie– I’ve subbed in sun butter due to allergies and they taste great!

Strawberry and Banana Muffins from Straight To The Hips, Baby

Do you have any favorite recipes for using overripe bananas that aren’t banana bread? Leave them in the comments below!

Thank you Jenna, for including me in such an amazing line up! I’m honored! I am a banana bread affectionado and just came up with a new “Double Chocolate Banana Bread”, that you may love.
    Be well! Cheers!
