With Mother’s Day a little over two weeks away, here is your reminder to start shopping for the moms in your life if you haven’t already! I’ve talked about this in the past both on my blog and Instagram ,but I’ve been trying to shop small more frequently and especially when it comes to gift giving. This Mother’s Day gift guide includes small business favorites only to hopefully introduce you to some new small brands while giving you gift ideas for Mom!
One. Chappy Wrap Hydrangea Print Blanket–The ultimate cozy blanket! This is such a nice gift for Moms (I gave one to mine last year!). I love the hydrangea pattern and think most moms would too!
Two. Neatly Nested Breakfast in Bed Gift Box– Neatly Nested is one of my favorite home decor and gift stores to shop at in Boston. For Mother’s Day they have curated gift boxes put together with a variety of items from the store. This Breakfast in Bed box looks like such a fun gift for mom that is all put together for you!
Three. Sewcialite Knot Earrings–I love Roula’s beautiful beaded earrings and this is such a classic pair that would be worn over and over.
Four. Estelle Colored Wine Glasses–Pair these glasses with her fave wine! Estelle Wine Glasses come in a variety of colors so choose whichever would be mom’s favorite!
Five. Hat Attack Bow Hat–I wore my Hat Attack hat non-stop last summer and I know my mom (and others) are all about the hat for skincare so shopping from this family owned and operated business seems like a no-brainer for Mother’s Day!
Six. Weezie Makeup Towels–I include these makeup towels way too often in gift guides, but I just think they are genius- who wants mascara on their nice bath towels? These Weezie makeup towels are the best!
Seven. Sara Campbell Floral Print Scarf– A beautiful scarf to welcome spring! Sara Campbell is a MA based designer with beautiful classic pieces.
Eight. Sarah Flint Perfect Block Sandal– If mom is a shoe lover, you have to get her a pair of Sarah Flint shoes! They are for sure the most comfortable- designed with a wider toe box, more arch support and made in Italy, these shoes are as beautiful as they are comfortable to wear. PS- I have a discount code for $50 off your first pair if gifting to Mom or yourself- code SARAHFLINT-BAJENNA will get you $50 off.
Nine.Sara Fitz x Harding Lane Hats–I love Sara Fitz artwork so much (you’ll find it twice in this gift guide 😉 ) and she just launched some needlepoint hats with Harding Lane. They did look to sell out in several colors quickly, but in the off chance some pop back in stock, I think this would be another great gift for mom, especially the hydrangea for your flower lover.
Ten. Alice’s Table Virtual Flower Arranging Class–Speaking of flowers, one of the best Mother’s Day celebrations with my mom included an Alice’s Table flower arranging class. They are currently doing classes virtually so you could totally do this with your mom whether she is near or far!
Eleven. bee + roo Poncho–This gift is best for new moms. The bee + roo poncho was created by a friend Meg as a nursing cover, but really it is a multi-purpose item for new moms. I’ve used it as a nursing cover, a car seat cover, worn it while pregnant, used it as a blanket for baby in a pinch. It’s so great and made from the softest cashmere!
Twelve. Feather and Finn Mother’s Day Candle Collection– My friend Kate of Domestikated Life partnered with Feather and Finn to create a Mother’s Day candle collection featuring the scents of Peony, Lilac and Sweet Grass. The candles can be bought and burned on their own or in a three pack for a candle bouquet- so creative!
Thirteen. Sara Fitz Notecards–Told you Sara Fitz would be on here twice 🙂 Sara’s New England inspired artwork is beautiful and personally I love having her notecards on hand to send out to friends for thank you notes or just because. I think any mom, mother-in-law or other mom on your list would love them too.
Fourteen.Printfresh Pajamas– A new to me brand, but after my first wear, I’ve become hooked on their pajamas! Printfresh pajamas are designed in Philadelphia and produced in India using organic cotton. They are super soft and I love that they have pockets! They have long sleeve sets, short sets, nightshirts- a little bit of something for everyone. Printfresh was so nice to share a discount with me- using code BOSTONCHICPARTY will get you 15% off sitewide.
Happy Mother’s Day shopping! Do you have any small brand favorites you are shopping with this Mother’s Day season?
xoxo, Jenna
