Friday Five- February 18, 2022

Happy Friday friends! To say that I’ve been inconsistent about blogging recently would be an understatement, but in an attempt to get back in the swing of things, I’m starting a new series here and on Instagram sharing five things I’m loving every Friday. My Friday Five lists will range from new beauty products, clothes I have my eye on, kid approved favorites, yummy food, good books- basically anything and everything that I love! Without further delay… this week’s Friday Five!

Thrive Causemetics Mascara & Eyeshadow Sticks– It’s been two weeks since I started using Thrive’s mascara and I am definitely a convert! The mascara lengthens and separates my lashes without smudging throughout the course of the day (smudging was my main complaint from my prior mascara). When I ordered the mascara, I decided to try the eyeshadow stick as well. My daily makeup is pretty minimal- mascara and blush are my two daily must haves- but the eyeshadow stick makes it so simple to add in to my daily routine and makes me feel put together even if I’m still running around after my boys like crazy 🙂

Tonies TONIEBOX– Our TONIEBOX has been a fan favorite in our house since Christmas! We love listening to music at home so this lets the boys be in charge of what they listen. The TONIEBOX plays music, stories and activities/dances when a character is placed on top (the characters do come separately). Tonies recommends this item for kids over the age of 3, but Peter at only 18 months loves it as well! I think younger than 3, kids would love it, but probably have less of an attention span for keeping one character on to listen to- if Peter is in charge he changes the characters constantly so typically we let him pick then put out of reach 🙂 If you are looking for a good gift idea for the children in your life, I would highly recommend the TONIEBOX!

Draper James Gingham Sweatshirts– With a few random spring weather days here in New England, I re-discovered my Draper James gingham sweatshirt from last spring in my closet. It is perfect for the spring weather here when it is not actually warm enough to wear a lot of spring clothes, but is still a spring pattern and comes in some seasonal colors like pink, light blue and yellow! Draper James has a whole gingham collection that I have my eye on too!

Target with Studio McGee Scalloped Bowl– I snagged this bowl a few weeks ago and it is a great home accessory piece. It could be used as a fruit bowl, filled with moss balls or other vase filler on a bookshelf or as a centerpiece on a table. It currently is showing as sold out, but turn on the notifications in the Target app and you’ll be instantly alerted when it comes back in stock!

Harding Lane Kid’s Needlepoint Truck Hats– With two truck obsessed boys in my house, I’ve been eyeing the Harding Lane’s adorable needlepoint hats for spring and summer. I always have my guys in a some sort of hat in the summer to keep the sun off their face and the needlepoint trucks are so cute that both me and them will love them!

I hope you like this new (hopefully) weekly series! Love to hear your thoughts in the comments!

xoxo, Jenna
