Friday Five- March 4, 2022

Happy Friday, friends! We had such a fun weekend last week with dinner out with friends for MJD’s birthday, a family birthday celebration and getting to see one of my oldest friend’s new home! This week actually went by really quickly for me and I am honestly surprised that it is already Friday again! I’m starting to think a lot about warmer weather shopping both for myself and all the boys in my house so you’ll see a bit of that in this week’s Friday Five! Anything you’ve been loving this week? I’d love to hear!

Emerson Fry Frances Dress 2 at For Now-My brain is fully transitioned into hoping for spring and summer weather so I was so excited to see the new Emerson Fry arrivals pop up at For Now this week! The dresses are hand block printed and with long sleeves I feel like you could wear them a lot. Definitely on my spring shopping list!

Sperry Toddler Boat Shoes-Peter and I took a trip to the mall this week as he needed some new shoes. I couldn’t resist these adorable boat shoes when I saw them! They have a hidden velcro under the top portion of the shoe and open up very easily for a toddler foot. I can’t wait to see him in these when the weather warms up 🙂

Eight Hundred Grapes by Laura Dave– Okay I am a few years behind on this book and it had been sitting in my TBR pile for quite some time. I LOVED it! It tells the story of Georgia who a week before her wedding finds out a secret that her fiance that had been keeping from her in a pretty dramatic way. She drives from LA to Sonoma County where her family owns a vineyard and finds more surprises waiting for her at home. The book focuses on her relationship with her brothers, parents and fiance all while she is trying to figure out what is most important to her. If you haven’t read this book yet, I’d absolutely recommend it! PS- this is probably sad to admit but I feel like because of Instagram and blogging, I had been spending more time reading new books so I could recommend new reads, but obviously there are so many great books from years past to read too. I’m making a bit more conscious effort to read some older books on my “to be read” list this year and hope I can share some goodies that we both may have missed!

Joy Street Kids Boston Pajamas-The illustration on the Joy Street Kids Boston pajamas was updated this week to include some additional Boston landmarks. My boys love their jammies and always say how cozy they are. I love giving Joy Street Kids as gifts for friends with new babies so keep these in mind for any Boston babies 🙂

Faherty Men’s Cloud Henley-For Mike’s birthday this week I got him a bunch of stuff from Faherty to prep for warmer weather. The cloud henley shirt is so soft and looks awesome, I’m so happy I picked it for him. I got it in the faded flag color and it is almost a Nantucket red mixed with pink. It’s for sure something different from all his blue or gray t-shirts, but that is why I loved it.

xoxo, Jenna
