Happy Friday, friends! I’m back to sharing my Friday Five after a few weeks off for vacation and the week before vacation prep 🙂 Any other moms out there that feel like they have to prepare for vacation for the same amount of time as the actual vacation or is it just me? We had a fabulous trip to Kiawah with our close friends and their family- so nice to have playmates for the kids and adult time at night once everyone was asleep. Highly recommend traveling with friends! Now that we are back home, I’m gearing up for hosting Easter brunch this weekend and a week of no school next week for April vacation at Nicholas’ preschool. How many activities can I plan ;)? Happy Easter to those who celebrate!
Pottery Barn Block Print Napkins– I’m very into all things block print right now so I ordered these napkins this week in hopes they arrive in time to make it on our Easter table! Once they arrive I’ll update on Instagram about the quality, but right now I’m excited to try them for a blue and white tablescape.
Celebrate With Babs Cookbook– If you don’t follow Babs on Instagram (@brunchwithbabs), I highly recommend it- she is the cutest grandmother who shares delicious family recipes, kitchen and home hacks and all around good advice :). Her book launched this week, filled with holiday recipes, menus and tips for creating your own family traditions. As soon as it was available it was in my cart and on the way to my house!
Usborne Airport Sticker Book– I mentioned this sticker book on my stories earlier this week- on our flight home we were a little bit delayed in the airport, but this sticker book kept Nicholas totally engaged and busy. He absolutely loved it! I think it was extra cool because it was showing all the different parts of the airport experience like going through security, baggage claim, getting on the plane, etc. It’s a great plane/airport activity for a preschooler age and also would be helpful for pre-flight prep for any first time fliers in that age group!
Hat Attack Continental Hat– I’ve had this hat for about two years now and it is a summertime must have for me. I’m all about keeping my face covered from the sun so anytime I’m at the beach you will for sure see me wearing this hat. Was reminded how much I love it during our vacation last week in Kiawah.
Boden Towel Cover Up– A few years ago my mom had found Nicholas a cute terry cover up hoodie at another store and it was so great to throw on at the end of a beach day. I had been looking for something like this when I saw this Boden one at Nordstrom. I ended up ordering direct from Boden to have more of a pattern selection, but I know the boys will be using these all summer (and hopefully for summers to come if I can hand them down). I got Peter the lobster version and Nicholas the stripes because he loves navy blue 🙂
xoxo, Jenna
