Friday Five- April 22, 2022

Happy Friday! I’m writing my post today from up in the air on the way to Charleston for one of my closest girlfriends’ bachelorette parties! So excited to get back to Charleston- it is the best. With it being school vacation this week for Nicholas, the week actually went by a lot faster than I was anticipating with Easter, Marathon Monday, a visit to Boston and just our regular activities. Hoping you had a great week and a fun weekend coming up too 🙂

Chappy Wrap Outdoor Water Resistant Blanket– I am a huge Chappy Wrap fan, both around the house and outside as it washes so easily. Whether it is sitting around the fire pit or for a snack picnic in the backyard or at our weekly outdoor music class, I’m always using one! With the ground a bit wet in spring time, I was excited to see their new outdoor specific version with a water resistant backing. It is on my list to add to my collection soon. I also think this would be a great Mother’s Day gift for the mom who has a lot of sporting activities to attend 🙂

UPPAbaby PiggyBack Board– Yet another reason to love the UPPAbaby 🙂 We recently added the PiggyBack board to our VISTA because Nicholas isn’t at interested in sitting in a stroller seat, but inevitably is tired when we go for longer walks. This ride on board has been awesome for travel and visits to the city! Big fans here!

Veronica Beard Blazer- Okay full transparency because I haven’t purchased one of these blazers (yet!) and they are pricey, but I’ve now rented a few through my Rent The Runway membership and they are amazing! I feel like they fit really well and also love the variety of colors. I think they make a great spring layering piece that makes an outfit look so much more put together. If (slash when) I buy my own I’ll likely go for a very classic color like navy, but I’ve had fun wearing the blue and white print and the light purple as rentals! PS- if you are interested in trying Rent The Runway’s membership (I love it!), you can use my code RTRJENNAD for 40% off your first few months at sign up. It is a great way to try some specific designer items before you buy as well.

TanTowels– To give myself a little bit of a glow before this weekend away, I used TanTowels. I’m not a big sunless tanner person honestly, so take my review with a grain of salt, but if you also aren’t a big tanner person I feel like you’ll agree with why I like them. I find the towels to be easy to use and give a good gradual color that you can build over a few days if you want to by using a few towels. It is a great little touch up before going away that can easily be done at home!

J.Crew Relaxed Collared Sweater– I bought this sweater on a whim when I went shopping a few days before our Kiawah trip and I’ve been wearing it a ton. It is a great beach sweater for cooler windy days at the beach, but I also am loving it with white or light jeans for spring layered with a cami underneath.

xoxo, Jenna
