With Easter a little less than two weeks away, it’s time to start thinking about what you will be adding to your kid’s Easter basket! There are some go-to’s I add to my kids basket every year- chalk and bubbles, duh- but I also like to add a few practical things for the new season like a cute hat and pajamas. The Harding Lane Hats are adorable and with Easter and the Masters falling on the same weekend this year, the Joy Street Kids golf print pjs would be a perfect Easter gift! My mom also started a tradition of putting a new bathing suit in for the boys each year and I love that. Oh and I’m absolutely adding band aids to ours this year because my kids are honestly obsessed with putting them on every day and for no reason at all 🙂
Spring Books- Pop Up Peek A Boo! Farm and Construction Site: Farming Strong All Year Long (stay tuned to Instagram later today for an Easter book giveaway coming soon!)
Bathing Suits- Boys’ Seersucker and Girls’ Gingham
Band Aids- Call me weird, but my kids will probably love these most! Star Wars here and Frozen version
Color Your Own Sticker Set- I had put these in Nicholas’ stocking and he loved them!
New Sunnies For Summer- WeeFarers Tortoise Glasses and Babiators Flower Sunglasses
Harding Lane Kids Needlepoint Hats
Water Wow Coloring and Activity Books
New Pajamas- You know I love Joy Street PJs! The rainbow and golf prints would be fun for spring!
Native Shoes- A must for the warmer months!
A new Tonies Character– If your child has a Tonies box, I gift one of these every holiday to grow their collection! Lightning McQueen here and Elsa here
Melissa & Doug Puffy Stickers- A favorite restaurant/airplane/car ride activity! Linking Mermaid and Truck versions, but there are lots of others!
eeBoo Matching/Memory Game– a family favorite!
A stuffed bunny or other favorite animal
This should go without saying, but an Easter basket can be as basic or elaborate as you want it to be- I’m definitely not getting ALL of these things for my kids own basket- just wanted to share some ideas so you can pick and choose what would be best for your own. I know it feels like there is so much pressure with every holiday so just wanted to say that in case you needed a reminder! Kids would be happy with just candy!
Do you have any items you add to your kids’ Easter basket each year? Will you be picking up any from this list?
xoxo, Jenna
