Nicholas’ Navy and White Bedroom

Before baby brother arrives, I wanted to be sure to snap some pictures of Nicholas’ room. His room may be the only room in our new home that is completely “done”- decorating is a process for sure.
My inspiration for Nicholas’ room started before he was born. I love all things navy and it is obviously a great color for a little boy’s room so wanted to use the navy, white and gray color palette. I also didn’t want anything too “nursery” like for the decor theme. I can’t remember if I decided on the star decor before or after I found the Coldplay lyric prints on Etsy, but since that is one of my all time favorite songs, it pushed me in that direction.
His crib is from Pottery Barn Kids and can convert into both a toddler bed and a full size bed down the line which is amazing. Same for his dresser/changing table– the changing table piece can be removed from the top to just be a dresser. I wanted his room to be something that could evolve over time as he got older and wouldn’t have to be completely redone in a few years when he was too old for baby stuff. Hopefully that will be the case!
